At some point, they are going to have to either let Cousins go to another team, or play him long enough to see if he can get over his INT problem. If he does, he's a solid NFL starter. What makes you think Cousins is ahead of McCoy talent wise, I'd actually argue the opposite. McCoy has mobility, and accuracy whereas Cousins has a better arm. However Cousins makes terrible decisions with the ball, despite nearly two months of first team work whereas Colt hasn't gotten much in the way of first team snaps.
