Vitali is, I think, the best fighter in the family, never mind if Vladimir is the best heavyweight ever. Yes, the Klitchkos are big, strong, and not unskilled in the ring. They would give anyone a tough time. Vitali or Vladimir are a handful.
But against the elite the sport has seen at the heavyweight level Vladimir would be hanging in with knockout artists like Marciano, Foreman, Louis, Baer and so on. OK... maybe not Max Baer, but you got to admire a guy with so much panache. Even Ali, admired as a defensive genius, still had more then enough firepower to stop Vladimir.
Vladimir Klitchko is the modern day version of Mike Tyson. Not in terms of style or what have you, but in terms of looking great against shaky competition.

There are a bunch of young punks in here. Tyson in his prime beats damn near anyone. Ali in his prime would knock out Klitchko.
