LSU football hasn't won a major bowl game since 2007.

LSU baseball hasn't won a game in Omaha since 2009.

Women's basketbal is, at best, mediocre.

First thing... LSU played for a National Championship in football in 2011. That is FAR better than winning some meaningless "major" bowl game. Also, LSU's women's basketball team played in the sweet sixteen the past 2 seasons.

Secondly... You are quite... inconsistent in your rant. In your title you say "past few years" then towards the end you seem concerned with "chronic mediocrity." Pick one and try to make a real point.

If LSU's athletic programs are chronically average then I would hate to see what you think about other athletic programs.

Tell me more about the other schools that you think exist that are doing so much better across the board. Who have you seen win a NCAA tournament game, win a "major bowl", and that has won in Omaha.... EVER much less in the past 10 years.

Very few schools can even field a championship caliber team in one sport. While I believe that LSU is 1 of 3 schools in the whole country that has won multiple championships in at least 2 of the main 3 sports (Football, Basketball, Baseball) in just the past 15 years.

If you think LSU sports are mediocre and that the leadership of the programs are quite... average then I suggest you find something more meaningful to do with your time and money. You (a fan) are what I would consider quite... average. The kids who play these sports consider your support quite... average.
