I ate there only once. I can't eat enough to make that worth my while and I didn't love the meat. It was salty and overcooked. We asked for some medium rare for some and by the time it came out, we were done.
If I ever go back, I'll get the salad bar only. It's terrific. The best salad bar I've ever seen and very clean and well kept. The lobster bisque is quite good. I tried not to eat a lot of the bar or the bisque so I could eat the meat, but salad bar was the star, for me.
Sides were extra. We didn't realize that at the time and they weren't all that good either.

There is a dress code
Yes, the dress code is no shoes, no shirt, no service. I've been to the BR location at least 10 times now since they have opened and I see people in T-shirts and jeans / shorts every time I go. There are always people dressed like they are eating at a fancy restaurant as well.
As long as you have $, you are going to get a table at this place, and that's a fact.

They have always asked how we like the meat cooked when we sit down. The flank steak has always been very good as well as the Picanha.
The Caipirinha is an awesome drink. They have one with muddled passion fruit that is really good.
I never knew there was a bar menu though. Apparently you can just get a bowl of soup and some small entrees.

We weren't asked anything when we sat down other than what we'd like to drink and about any sides. Had the meat not been so salty, it would have had a nice flavor, but it's just too much for me to enjoy that style anyway. I can't chow down on a ton of meat. It's just too much for me.

This is strange. Every time I've been they have asked "is medium rare OK?". The meat usually comes out closer to rare than medium rare. I have yet to experience a well done cut of meat at TdB. Seems a little odd.

Maybe it was an off night. Have no idea, but we weren't asked. After getting a few dry overcooked meats, we started asking the folks. I was surprised they didn't have any available at medium rare, but at the time, they kept saying they didn't, but would get some. It was sort of strange.
It's not my kind of place regardless because I'm not going to eat meat until I'm miserable. I'd return to get the salad bar, though.

Somebody near you probably requested well done cuts and you were close enough to get screwed by it. Tough break.
