It is talking in circles. It's literally the definition of talking in circles. When you incorrectly thought the Ravens were favored by 4 you used it as proof that your view on this game is correct. You said the Ravens are favored because they are the better team and they will win. In actuality the Saints are favored because Vegas believes they are the better team and they will win. I'm not making any of this up. This isn't my opinion. YOU typed these things. You people type things then literally say the opposite and act as if you didn't. I can still read what you said in the thread. It's truly mind boggling.

"The Ravens are favored by 4 because they are the better team this is proof that they are better and they will win. Oh what's that? The Saints are the ones favored by 4? Well please disregard everything I just said about the Ravens and how being favored by 4 points further proves I'm right because the Saints being favored by 4 doesn't support my view point." How this even remotely a logical progression of thought from a human is beyond me

So it was -130, not the usual -110

Still doesn't change the fact that the saints were favored by 2

Have you not seen Saints and company prime time? Yeah the saints lost 2 at home in a row.. But this is an entirely different scenario where they need to win

Line moved exactly the way I thought it would. There is reverse line movement on this game as well with 65% of the bets on NO and the line down to -2.5 at 5dimes.

Doesn't look good for the Saints at all, but if Keenan Lewis can play the whole game that would be huge. I made a small play over 49.5 and didn't bet the spread.

What do you know.

Steve smith doesn't have our number
Ravens don't have our number

We've lost to their coaching staff once, on the road, by 1 score.

Yea, that is relevant

not a lot of games,

Yep, making it statistically irrelevant.

It is a stupid argument to make.

Please explain how it makes your argument less stupid?

We lost this game b/c the Ravens had our number with different coaching staffs?

How was that sunshine pumping?

Are you retarded?

If anything, this team sucking supports my argument. We lost this game for the same reason we lost to the Falcons, the Browns, the Cowboys, the Bengals, and the 49ers.

It had nothing to do with our past history vs. the team. We moved the ball at will and couldn't punch it in. We had a costly pick 6. Our oline continued to suck.

Nothing in that post is sunshine pumping. The fact that you think this loss validates some mythical Ravens advantage going back to when Payton coach the Giants is just fricking stupid.

They beat us b/c of the same weaknesses we've shown vs. 7 teams now. I would love to hear your retarded explanation on that.

Everything I said would happen did

Steve smith who hasn't done shite since early October owned us, Payton was out coached, the Ravens won and more handily than the score would indicate

My argument is stupid, yet I told you the exact outcome

But "prime time in the dome" is an acceptable argument

Another 3-4 defense with physical pass rushers and a top NT whipped us again

Payton and/or Brees have never beaten them. Tonight you saw why and tirico hit the nail on the head while discussing the longevity of the Ravens D

This guy just doesn't get it. Might as well give it up fox. Saints had success in the first half, but were shut down in the second half completely. Saying they moved the ball at will is delusional. Brees padded his stats in the 4th to make it look better in typical fashion.

Past history against the Ravens shows that they give Saints major problems with their physical style of play. I said that on page 1.

Of course should have gone with my gut, but I really wanted to believe Drew would play a perfect game. It was a tossup until the pick 6. This game was all on Brees. Him alone! At least I made a little cash on the over.

Unbelievable how stupid some people are.

We had 383 offensive yards going into the 4th quarter. 447 yards with about 7 minutes to go to make it a 7 point game.

We didn't get points in the redzone. We moved the ball well this game.

So if you look at the Pick 6, and us losing by 7, yes that was the most singular event/play that caused us to lose the game. And I'm not defending the pass. It was drifted behind the receiver and was a pretty easy play for the defender.

But saying he is the problem is a complete fallacy. They ran the ball at will. We could not stop the run. We lost the game because we could not get the ball back. It's that simple. Ravens could chew through the clock, and we couldn't. Offensively, the line didn't play up to par and defensively, I'm not sure what I was watching. I played LB for 8 years, I don't think I've ever seen a front 7 so incapable of shedding blocks than I have this year with the Saints. Also, the defensive ends are playing recklessly with no interest in playing contain whatsoever. It's pathetic.

We can always agree to disagree, but it's my opinion that Brees is still the best player on the team at their respective positions. He was hit and pressured all night, that affects your throwing accuracy and decision making. I don't care who you have playing under center.
