That interview didn't sit well with Miles b/c Harris is saying he is prepared to play, is being told he'll play, and yet has to sit and watch an inferior QB ahead of him. Like I said, even if approved to do the interview, he should have declined.

What he said was factual.

Through twitter, Deion Sanders and Steve Mariucci told him to keep his head up. Harris needs to keep his frustrations on the low and try to stay out of the doghouse.

Part of me agrees with you. I don't see what good it can do at this point. Every fan and sportswriter in the country is second-guessing the coach and most people assume there's some tension in the locker room.

This won't help, though I understand Harris' feelings.

So Harris should say he was ill-prepared? How is that better? And where did he say he was sitting behind an inferior QB? You guys just make stuff up to fit your agenda.

This is why I think he's not playing at all. Miles is harshly teaching him a lesson.

I'll say it like this, Harris was in the wrong to put stuff out there like that. Also he should have known, don't care what anybody thinks, he should have known that going behind Miles back to do the interview even getting permission from LSU, was a HUGE no no. Not only that, Harris was either intentionally saying things like that, or just had a poor choice of words. If you read it between the lines, it is basically calling the coaches out without necessarily saying those exact words. I'll say it again, I don't know if that was intentional or not (he's a very smart kid), but even doing it against the coach's wishes, was a dumb move on his part.

Hopefully he'll learn from this. You aren't in the pros so you can't go against the HC and expect to play. He needs to suck it up and wait it out. If he has proven that he deserves to start over Jennings next year and doesn't, I would not blame him one bit for transferring. However, what it boils down to, is Miles sacrificing every chance to win (playing Harris) to prove a point. Prove that he runs the establishment. Prove that he makes the final call, and to not go behind his back.

With all that said, I really want Harris to start from here on out.
