We're getting in tomorrow afternoon and catching the us soccer match vs Colombia.
Can you recommend a good, pub style atmosphere?
Also, what is a good brewery to tour after the game? I've looked online but haven't a clue. (After the us soccer game/match)
We're heading to vitro 1925 for dinner that night and have heard nothing but great things.

What do you mean Pub style? I would check out Ferrals, I think that's what you're getting at. For breweries check out the Fayetteville Ale trail, it will give you a list of breweries in Fayetteville. None actually have a "tour" that I know of but they are all local and make in house beer. You could research HogHead tours and they will drive you to every brewery in town.

Where are you staying? I like JJ's on Wedington, Grubs uptown, or Grubs just off Dickson to sit, drink, and watch tv. All of those places also have great food.

Im not up on the brewery scene like others can tell you, but I do enjoy Hog Haus, which brews their own beer. But, Im never one for much change either. Once I find something I like, I stick with it.

Good spot. Also I like Bordino's on Dickson. I enjoy James at the Mill in Johnson as well. Everyone will tell you to hit up Doe's for a steak, but the ribeye at James at the Mill is damn good. As is the strip at Catfish Hole.

Vetro is up on the Square. There's West Mountain Brewing (small) on the Square. If you feel like barring around a bit, Maxine's Tap room and Tables & Ale are up that way. JR's lightbulb is small and hipstery and will probably have a band. Don't go to Club Push unless someone in your group is gay.
All of that is feasibly walkable from Dickson, but its more than a few blocks, uphill. On a nice night, I'd recommend it.
