RENTING, not buying. There are a lot of people who have fixed places up for rental properties MSteets.
Lots of rentals avail around SMU as well.
ETA:
I lived in downtown for years. Have lots of service industry friends living in those areas. If a bartender/cocktail waitress can afford it - So can this guy.

I'll be moving to Dallas area soon too. GF working in Plano. Thinking about living in Addison. Not too far from work or play.
Would prefer to not live in a party complex but want all the amenities. Any recommendations?
