Demarco Murray Trade advice

12 team, Standard scoring.
I'm currently 8-2, in 1st place, 1 game ahead of 2 tied at 7-3. The guy is offering me Murray for Ellington and Hopkins. I'm hesitant to do it with Demarco and a few of my backup WRs being on byes, and because I really don't want to mess with what's been working. I'd have to play Joique as my RB2 this week, and John Brown in the Flex. Is it worth sacrificing this week to get Murray? If it weren't for the byes this week, I would have already pulled the trigger.
ETA: Our trade deadline is tomorrow.
QB: Rivers
RB: L. Bell
RB: Ellington
WR: Marshall
WR: Sanders
TE: Olsen
Flex: Hopkins
D/ST
K
B: Decker (bye)
B: Torrey Smith (bye)
B: John Brown
B: J. Bell
B: Alex Smith
B: C. Hyde
TL;DR: Should I trade for Murray while giving up Ellington and Hopkins?

I would. Murray is a good bit better than Ellington in standard. It would help you immensely in the playoffs IMO.

Yeah, I'm leaning towards taking it. Another set of Pros/Cons-
Pro- He said he's willing to throw in a WR on his end, and will probably give up Garcon.
Con- We get to keep up to 3 players by giving up the round they were drafted in the year before. I got Hopkins in the 9th, so he would definitely be one of my keepers.

Doesnt Ellington have a brutal schedule coming up?

I would say no. Murray will have his carries greatly reduced in the coming weeks to give him some recovery time for the playoffs. I would expect no more than 18-20 carries a week where he was getting 30+.

Very good point. Randle showed he was capable of making stuff happen. They'll need a healthy Murray for their future.

Good point, but with Dallas having a bye week this week, I see that as Murray's opportunity to rest and get ready for the playoff push. Also, they're 2nd in the division, so I can't see them shying away too much from Murray.
Also, Ellington's upcoming schedule is pretty tough (Detroit, Seattle twice, KC, @STL,).

Keep in mind that NFL playoffs dont start for another 7 weeks after the bye. That's a long time for a RB that has run as hard as Murray.

Didn't realize Dallas had already clinched a playoff spot...

Murrays carries won't be reduced. If this is gonna be Dallas' year, they will ride Demarco.
