Head to the lot at the corner of Nettleship and S. Razorback. I used to live in Fayetteville, and I would tailgate with the hog fans almost every weekend just for the sake of tailgating. My boss at the time has had the same spot for many years right at the entrance to this parking lot (off nettleship), and we would always have a great tailgate party. There was usually some good tailgating in this lot, and even though I was always wearing my LSU gear, they were not too bad.
Parking can be a pain, as all the lots in this area are reserved, but the houses up on the hill adjacent to campus usually open their yards for parking ($15-$20). This area also allows you to get out of town or at least back to the interstate with less traffic by taking Sang Ave., to Wedington. to 49
You can also park for free down at Baum Stadium, which is about a 10-15 min walk south of Stadium on Razorback. There are shuttles to take you closer, but the walk is not bad.
