yeah it was ok. We finished middle of the pack in the SEC statiscally with two NFL WR's and a NFL QB. Not bad I suppose.

Offenses are ridiculous now. Our stats last year would have put us in the top 3 of the SEC five years ago.

Passing 2013
TAMU - 489 passes 4590 yards 40 TDs
UGA - 456 passes 4090 yards 31 TDs
Ole Miss - 490 passes 3680 yards 24 TDs
Mizzu - 454 passes 3540 yards 31 TDs
USCe - 383 passes 3300 yards 30 TDs
LSU - 326 passes 3260 yards 23 TDs
Bama - 365 passes 3230 yards 30 TDs

Passing 2008
UGA - 400 passes 3620 yards 27 TDs
Arky - 443 passes 3120 yards 19 TDs
UF - 329 passes 3000 yards 33 TDs
USCe - 452 passes 2890 yards 20 TDs
Ole Miss - 340 passes 2880 yards 27 TDs
LSU - 390 passes 2620 yards 21 TDs

These are the top half teams of those seasons. LSU was 6th in yards, and 7th in TDs. In 2008, with 2013's #s, LSU would be 2nd in yards, and 4th in TDs. For rushing, LSU was 4th last year in yards (2630) and 2nd in TDs (37). That would have put us 2nd in both categories in 2008. If you go total offense and scoring offense, LSU was 7th (453.3 ypg) and 6th (35.8 ppg) respectively in 2013. Those same numbers would be 1st and 2nd respectively in 2008.

So I don't consider what they did last year as middle of the pack. I consider last year as a ridiculous uptick in passing and part of it, is having teams like Mizzu and TAMU enter the ranks.
