I honestly don't know given he did not flag the BAMA player who have shoved as whistles were being blown just prior as he came up to separate him and Gordon. Giving him the benefit of the doubt, he may have just looked up and seen the flop and assumed it was something outrageous.

That's why my frustration with this is with the rest of the crew who stood around with their dicks in the hands pretending they had not all been part of separating the pile just seconds earlier. where was Ritter or anyone else stepping up saying, "Yeah...it was a push but it was one of about 7 we didn't flag just now. either wave it or call it both ways...no reason to flag one here."

Jennings was clearly pleading that case, and they'd hear none of it.

Thankfully we can take this issue up with Steve Shaw at the SEC offices. Wait...
