You people are fricking weird. I've never met or seen the garbage men, the mailman, or the UPS guy. Do you go outside and watch your garbage get picked up or something? I just put it out the night before and the next day when I get up, it's empty. The mailman and UPS guy drop packages at my door and don't bother to even knock half the time, and when they do, they're already down the street by the time I open the door.

Agreed 100%. Couldnt even tell you if the same ups driver, mailman or garbage people come to my house each time.

Agreed. I only tip people that genuinely seemed happy to do more than what was expected all year long, I don't give away money just because.

This too. It might be different if I interacted with said service providers on a regular basis, but not all residences are conducive to such.
