We had 3 losses after the Bama game also. We couldn't use the "we're young" excuse then so what gives?

last year we lost at Athens (by 3), at Oxford (by 3), and at Tuscaloosa (by 14).

and our Defense was young having just lost 7 starters:

Lavar Edwards (only senior)
Sam Montgomery
Kevin Minter
Barkevious Mingo
Eric Reid
Bennie Logan
Tharold Simon
Brad Wing

That is the thing. We are always young on one side or the other due to early departures....just harder when its on offense in this league....but it is also the appeal to a lot of recruits; getting the chance to play early because we need them to. Doubled edged sword...

So is this going to be never ending cycle at LSU? 3 losses and pointing fingers at departures and say we're young? Are we ever going to have a year when we're not young?

That's the problem. Truth is you will be here next year with the same excuse because we lose Collins, Porter possibly Hawkins and/V. Alexander. The OL could be very very young and inexperienced.

Youth can always and will always be an excuse for some.

At what point can we say youth is no longer an excuse and the staff and players be expected to win games and championships with the players we put on the field.

Can we agree that NEXT year is that year. Or will next be wait til NEXT year again?
