The defense did its best in horrible positions in the First half. Including Brees basically throwing them a touchdown.
The defense held them to 1 field goal in the second half.
The defense held them to no points in overtime on a huge play to get our offense back on the field only to have our offense hand the game over to San Fran.
The offense gave them a minimum of 10 and took from us a minimum of 3 thanks to stupid decisions and horrible management.
Had they not made just one of the 4 crucial unforgivably horrible mistakes they made, then that blown coverage play wouldn't have mattered anyway.
