This may be the biggest problem. Too may people were willing to say that simply because Rivers and Rettig weren't competing for the starting job in the Spring, they must not be any good. And while neither of them may be Mettenberger, I recall Cameron saying at one point that he thought Rivers had a real chance to compete for the job. Miles, however, became fixated on Jennings, just like with JJ, and never even gave these guys a chance. I truly believe that Cameron is really good at what he does, and that given a little time both Rivers and Rettig would have been reasonbly good QBs in a pro-style offense. There is only so much he can do, however, and I just don't think Jennings is going to get better, no matter how much Cameron works with him. He is not an SEC starting QB.
