I've been nailed by those things at least 5 times in my life when I was living in Orleans parish. Not the checkpoint with 8 cops like they have here in Ascension, but the one cop hiding behind a tree at a stop sign.
but once you get out of NOLA, it's easy to get an inspection sticker (and it's easy in NOLA now).
