You can definitely get credit for that service. Even if you don't make full 5 years and get 3rd week, you'll get credit for the 4.x and get your 3rd week from Shell when you do. It'll be prorated first year.

Biggest negotiating piece will come from Gr 4 or Gr 5. If you were offered a Gr 5, then you should be close to topped out in that grade. If Gr 4, then they are likely stretching for you, more room to play, but less qualified to do so.
