If you go this route, there are several free-standing DVR boxes you can use that will both download a guide to let you know what's on and when as well as having some amount of freedom to not watch live stuff. You lose ESPN, FX, TNT, USA, Disney. You will be able to keep HBO via HBO Go though, if you desire.

Those aren't on Hulu? If not and you can handle being behind a season, Amazon Prime has most of the popular shows from those. Some of those are on NetFlix too, but Amazon Prime has a better deal with those networks than NetFlix, has some shows they don't and is at least one more season current on many of them.
