Shopping for some Cold Camo Gear

I don't mind spending a little bit if worth it but not looking to go out of my way to break the bank. I'm really looking something thats warm as shite without the bulk. Its getting aggregating as hell with the bulky jackets and shite w/ the hunting bag and gear and all. I somewhat like some of the under armour gear but not sure which setup offers best warmth. Open to any ideas. Might need to get a new base layer as well. Anyone like UA's 4.0?

I just bought this and wore it for the first time this weekend. Excellent!
LINK
I wore my UA Cold Gear leggings, 1 normal camo pants, and these bibs for my lower body. Upper body was UA Cold Gear, long sleeve shirt, hoodie, thick camo jacket.
I was very comfortable in low 30s with a north wind hitting me directly.

i have one pair of bibs thats more of weather proof bibs but it offers a decent layer when i need to layer up 5 times in freezing weather. Really want an awesome jacket probably w matching pants that offers very good warmth without much bulk.

Get yourself a sitka base layer, they are high as shite, but certainly work well.

How cold are you going to be? I have the 3.0 under armour and stayed plenty warm, even sitting still in single digit temps. You'll also want to have several layers of clothing on top of your base layer.

just typical MS type hunting. I can't stand the damn cold and get cold fairly easily. My feet and hands are normally the worst though.

I went with wool all layers. I haven't used them yet but I will put them to the test in two weeks when I go to Alberta for 10days.

very comfortbal, but hadnt used it all in the woods yet. But i can tell it will be worth the money. Gets warm very quick when you put it on.

Agree with ole yeller on the merino.
First Lite is probably top of the line.
Look at blackovis.com.
They sell numerous brands with pretty good prices.
Easy comparison between manufacturers.

I too am looking to reduce the bulky clothing. I bought the UA cold gear evo infrared top and leggings. Has anyone used this before? Should I return them and get the 3.0 or 4.0?
I also bought the infrared jacket LINK
I'm not sure what I want to do for legs yet
- where do y'all buy the 3.0 and similar base layers?

The 3.0 is more than enough for Mississippi, I used it in Pennsylvania. Put some adequate layers over top and you should be good to go.
