Well they took FSU to the limit on the road.. I ll give them credit for that... ND is pretty good.. But if they win out are they IN and leave out a 2 loss SEC champ?????

Is this assuming the 2 loss champ is from the east or west?

If it's from the West, I wouldn't mind ND getting in if the right teams lose and they can dominate the rest of their meh schedule. I'm kinda on the fence here though. I really wish they could have looked better against some of the teams they've played so far.

And I agree... But YOUR team has looked spotty against some not so great teams... To be fair they haven't beaten ONE team with a winning record in the SEC... LSU the same way... They got blown out against the two best teams they have played.... Ole Miss is DONE IMO... MSU may lose to Bama, but Bama is gonna be real sore coming off that tough LSU game.... Not sure Ole Miss could come up with enough to beat MSU... Anyway. AU as hard as it may look could be the sleeper here...

ND needs two things to happen and they are in. Both however are not that likely, however, its just two things.

1. ND needs to win out (thus beating Ariz St) - 13.6% of ND winning out according to ESPN FPI

2. Have Ariz St win out and become Pac12 champs - 3% chance according to ESPN FPI

This gives them the nod over the Pac 12 champ - so theyre out

And also eliminates Michigan State - since they lost to Oregon. And as such Pac12 > B1G

There are other possibilities, but that is the simplest hypothetical for ND.
