re: Which OTers have ever been to Greenland?

I was stationed aboard a Coast Guard polar icebreaker. We escorted in the supply ships to Thule Air Force Base on the NW coast of Greenland. It was scenic and desolate. No desire to go back. Now St. John's and Halifax in Canada are definitely worth checking out. They have an insane girl to guy ratio due to the nursing and liberal arts colleges. Made up for the North Pole and Greenland suckiness.
