your options are as follows:
Wal-Mart neighborhood market: good for everything except produce, meat, and bread. They have a suprisingly good deli meat selection.

Winn Dixie: similar to Wal-Mart NM, but their bread is better, meat is better, but their deli meat selection isn't as good. Higher prices compared to Wal-Mart NM, but they have fuel perks

Bet-R: limited selection, decent meat, good produce, deli meats somehow go bad instantly, slightly less limited bread compared to Wal Mart NM, great plate lunches

Trader Joe's: best frozen food selection, very good produce, limited but interesting alcohol selection, great prepared meats, surprisingly great prices, lots of unique products, but lacks many tradition grocery items. It's a great niche store.

Calandro's: great meat, great produce, decent selection of more upscale items (ethnic foods, gluten free, dairy free, organic, ect), best alcohol selection in the area, no plate lunches, great bakery, great bread, great deli meat selection, a little higher on the prices

Wal-Mart College Drive: AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!

Matherne's (Highland at Kennilworth): best combo of selection (except for alcohol) and price of any store, great bakery, great produce, great plate lunches, sushi bar, great bread, great meats, great deli meats, only issue is it's tough to get to from campus due to traffic most of the time.

Matherne's Bocage Market: similar to the one on Highland, but higher prices and not as good of plate lunches. Kinda far from campus.

Whole Foods: great selection, 2nd best alcohol selection, awesome foods including nearly the best BBQ in the city (sadly), high prices, kinda far from campus.

City Pork: best deli meat and cheeses available

Great response! I appreciate the break down of each location. It sounds like Matherne's and Calandro's are the places I've been looking for!
