I
did not
have an affair
with that woman
Ms Lewinsky
Clinton's speeches were short groupings of 1-3 words. It was as if his teleprompters had trouble loading the next sentence fragment. It made him look dumb.
Either Teleprompter screens must have gotten larger since Clinton was in office or staffers decided that random mid sentence pauses did not make you sound more honest or serious.
Ron Paul sounds like a mad scientist. I like the guy but he's a terrible politician. Al Gore sounded terrible under most circumstances. Edwards was a more polished candidate as far as public speaking goes. Palin was actually better at rehearsed, practiced speeches than McCain IMO. Hillary sounds kind of like a mean bitch but she's not bad with speeches. She should try to redevelop some kind of southern accent if she plans on running.
Bush sounded like a good ole boy. Obama sounds like he's full of it. Reagan's acting background may have given him an advantage but he's had some bloopers. I'm having trouble remember if Bush 1 speeches.....probably because he was so forgettable. I was really too young to remember Carter.
