All polls are highly subjective. How can one precisely quantify the quality of a football team in order to create a comparative rank? It's not possible, IMO. With so many variables, one team is "higher quality" vs. some teams but not compared to others. All that matters is winning. You want a consensus champ? Expand the playoffs. Of course, I could be wrong...
