Good points. Also, this defense is weaker. Therefore teams have probably run more plays against us - at least more running plays in which these guys can get tackles. It's hard for 2011 guys to rack up tackle stats when teams are going 3 and out. And then, when the other team starts sustaining drives, it's at the end of the game when we have substitutes in.
No, you can't judge by stats. It's more about the eye test. So, here is the real rankings:
1. Mingo
2. Hunter
3. Montgomery
4. Rasco
All very good college players.

Stats are from 2012. I knew 2011 stats hard to compare. Hunter much more complete player.IMO
