First, you know he's taking orders from A New Hope. There's no "reveal."

Second, that's a bad comparison, the prophecy is about Anakin, and as a weak a film as RotJ may be, it aligns with Anakin being the difference in the end. He doesn't end up a pawn, he ends up a savior of the Galaxy.

Big difference.

too bad the Jedi didnt realize they were part of the problem that needed balancing

fair enough, but I still don't understand why being second in command is so bad? I had my issues with DKR, but Bane wasn't one of them. I thought Hardy was an awesome Bane.
