That is all fine and good. It would be better if AJ was as good as Jamarcus.

This x 1000. People's memory of JLEE is so overblown...Dude was awful vs any team with a pass rush during his entire career at lsu.

Maybe Jennings will win a championship, something JR never did.

NO WAY Miles does anything but start the QB who gives LSU the best chance to win, unless he REALLY tanks or gets injured.
Look at JJ9 for all the evidence you need.
So JJ didn't REALLY tank it in the championship game?
And why did JJ start to make appearances well before the Bama game in 2011. The offense was very efficient at that point.

Hi DJ, Point is that if Miles believed Harris would be the guy next year and he needs to gain experience you would have seen him in the Kentucky game earlier. At least a series here and there when you were up 31-0. not wait till last 3 minutes.
Did you even watch the game? Harris entered the game with a little over 10 minutes left in the 4th; unfortunately, his first play was an interception. His lack of "playing time" was self-inflicted.

Thats a team accomplishment. If you think Flynn was better because of a "title" then that's crazy. Football is the most team oriented sport on the planet 'but yet somehow qbs get put on a pedestal if/ when they get a title.

BECAUSE if it weren't for some bs at the beginning of the season , JJ wouldve been the starter from day 1.lets not act like Lee didn't have really bad games in those first 8 weeks.

JJ was so much better.
8/20 96 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT.
That has be against Bama or Mississippi State right?
Wrong. That was against Vanderbilt in 2010.
I can go on and on with the games where JJ shite the bed against teams we should have crushed.

It's amusing to me how people forget that Miles was waiting for Lee to make some sort of mistake to reinsert JJ back into the starting role despite the fact he was one of the most efficient passer in the nation at the time. Miles did not even get his moment until November in the Bama game - J Lee's second interception of the season.
I am positive there are people out there, other than JJ, that thinks he played well against UGA and Bama in the title game too.

We were talking about 2011. In 2009 JJ had a higher passer rating than Flynn did in 07.
But if you're bringing up each qbs 2nd year in the program, JLEE set the single season pick 6 record. Neither qb was anything but average.

Please compare the offensive productions when Lee started and played without interruption to the offense when JJ started and played without interruption in 2011
A JJ led offense never hangs 40 on Oregon and 47 on West Virginia.
ETA: Fixed typo

For those of you who think Brandon Harris is definitely going to transfer because he's the backup QB, I want to remind you guys of Matt Flynn. He sat behind JaMarcus Russell for a long time, and when he got his chance, he led us to a national championship. Now, I don't know if Brandon Harris has the same patience as Matt Flynn, but I feel like he will wait for his full-time starting opportunity, and when he gets that opportunity, great things will happen.
Brandon will not sit behind Jennings for another season. Far more talented than Jennings or Flynn. Only thing that Jennings had on Brandon is an extra year in the weight room, and more time than a true freshman in the play book. Next season it will be a different playing field with Harris having time in the system and having played in games. Harris to lose next year.

Jlee had some bad games in 2011 before Bama. He was horrible against Oregon and against Kentucky he went 8/21 for 169 yards. Against bama he threw back to back ints while only throwing the ball 7 times.

Disagree. Miles believes in winning now, not next year, so he will play Jennings because Jennings is more prepared this year. Miles will give Harris time to prepare and learn this year, and when Harris is ready next year, he will take over if he earns it.

In the regular season. JJ went 45/70 64% compl 5 tds 1 int.

I think JJ couldve managed to go
8/22 with 98 yards passing. Which is what JLEE did against Oregon.
JJ also had the best game of either qb against arkansas

I said offensive production. With JLee in the game the running game was much better because you had a passing threat with Lee back there.
With JJ you could stack the box and the running game was not as effective. We did have the option though which was so effective against Bama
Lee was not an All American or even All SEC but he was head and shoulders over Curb Stomper.

And JJ had UGA and Bama. In the first game against Bama he under threw a wide open Shep by 10 yards and made him come back to catch a ball that should have been an easy TD.
Neither QB was an All SEC QB but I find that you think JJ was better amusing.

Facts state otherwise. We had our most successful running game when jj came back.jj himself out rushed arkansas' entire team.

Again, facts state otherwise. The last 4 games JJ started we had more offensive and rushing yardage.

No he wasn't. Thats what you don't understand. You post to the oregon for JLee, he went 8/21 for 98 yards. Neither qb was good and both brought something diff to the table. We dont win the sec in 2011 without having both qbs.

If JJ was never reinstated and there was a time warp we could go through I am willing to bet LSU wins the SEC with JLee.
I am positive JLee could have gone 5/13, 30 yards against UGA
