If we lost to Ole Miss everyone would be talking about how Jennings hasn't improved ("cost us the game") and the offense is too crippled with him at QB, but we won so I get it, we need to sunshine pump that he had 8 completions in the entire game and ignore the 2 bad INTs. The throws he had to make for the most part were very safe and basic.
Props to him for making the big throw in the end but the coaches put that in the absolute perfect spot. He still had a pretty poor game and our running game was the only reason we ended up winning. I mean we ran the ball 91 yards on that final drive and Jennings throws a 3 yard TD pass to a wide open TE.
Jennings looks like the same QB to me as he did against Wisconsin. He is very inaccurate, is a 1 read and if it isn't there, panic QB. He can throw a nice deep ball but locks into only 1 guy for it and defenses are keying in on that now. He can make a nice play here and there, but what QB cant? I really hope Harris sticks around and fights for the job because if not we're looking at 2 more years of Jordan Jefferson v2.0. It's quite clear where we can improve the most from this year to next and there's really no question about it.
