I would argue that a good deal of the people who criticize Miles don't necessarily negate all the positives he brings to LSU football. I think a great deal like a good deal of his overall/general philosophy. However, I don't know how you, NorthTiger, feel, but I think a great deal of the fanbase wishes Miles were a better developer of QBs. With the exception of maybe Mettenberger (who got his college 101 under a different coach) Miles has not developed a quarterback to the level of success needed to provide for a more balanced offense.
I feel we should be a pro-style, run-based offense; however, I would like to see Jennings and Harris develop into not average, but well above average leaders. I want a mostly dependable short passing game to develop in order for Fournette and the ground game to dominate with ease.
