That is just really ignorant. I think anyone who watched last night that was not a supporter of either team would not agree with that. Did our defense play out of their minds awesome? Yes.
But to say we won in spite of our offensive game plan is ignorant. Please tell me...go back and watch the game...really watch it, and tell me when Ole Miss stopped the LSU run game. Why fix what isn't broken. We made some mistakes sure, but without two fumbles, a missed field goal, and the dropped floating pick near the end zone, you are looking at at worst a 16-0 game.
Do I want to have a balanced offense? Yes. Who wouldn't. But clearly the strength of this football team is o-line and rb. Our weakness is our qb. Our defense stayed fresh because our offense had long, sustained drives. We wore those dudes down and made them quit.
Go back and watch that beauty of a 13 play 95 yard drive...12 runs...let that sink in. They couldn't stop us. I just don't understand how hard this is to comprehend.
It shouldn't have been close but Ole Miss was opportunistic and we weren't. And we still beat them down. The gameplan was overwhelmingly effective. Our execution just wasn't always there last night.

Nothing ignorant about my post. We are in a predicament of which our O-Philo is a major factor. We already have two losses. For us to get to Atlanta we need a lot of help from UGA, Auburn, Bama, and OM.
The O isn't defined by a single drive vs OM or a game. But the season as a whole and championships at the end.
We can win out and there's still a chance to get to Atlanta. I have hope. And I don't think this team has peaked at all. But to put our future in the hands of four other teams when we scored 10 meaningful points vs State/Auburn warrants rethinking some things.
