Translation: "We're going to train Veterans in a field that's plagued with bankruptcies".
I can't tell if he really means well with this but doesn't understand the reality of the industry or if he's just trolling Veterans.

On that when I was looking to transition out of being a chef I did research (funny that) in a lot of fields. I found that the average pay in the solar power world was not much more than a decent cook makes per hour, LINK and according to the green tech school I graduated from those figures are high compared to what graduates in the solar field are making... This is why I went into wind power where average pay starts in the 20's per hour.
So these vets are going to train for jobs that really do not exist that pay the same or less than they make in the military ( LINK), genius move Obama.
