re: New Orleans- Group rescues dog that survived eating twigs and rocks

We have a rescue dog that was a stray. German shepherd mix. She is on the smaller side and now weighs 45 lbs. When we got her she had been at pound for one month and weighed 25 lbs. Sometimes I catch her eating her own nails. She was skin and bones at 25 lbs and had hardly any hair. I cant imagine what she looked like when she was picked ip. Sweetest dog EVER.
