I would definitely consider myself a "real fan" along with many many other ppl. One thing I realized a long long time ago is that I can't control other peoples actions. More people should realize that!

They will leave no matter what. The score is irrelevant because the game is irrelevant to these people who only care about tailgating.
Yep. This is what I have come to believe about many LSU "fans".

Do you know how bad traffic is by that point!?!

Leaving before kickoff is your best bet.

Why would you leave when you have to pay so much for your tickets. I want to get my moneys worth. So you have to wait in traffic, turn on 98.1 and listen to the after game interviews and stupid people calling in. Sometimes it can be comical.

I absolutely believed that if half the people who left had stayed, Mississippi State would have been a classic. Instead, it was a near-classic.

While it would have been nice to have the whole crowd there at the end (what few of us were left still made a good bit of noise), I think it's a stretch to say that it would have made a difference. Save recovering an onside kick or completing a hail mary, our team did about as much as it could to win that game at the end, and I'm not sure more noise would have made it any better.

Still, it's a good thought. The stadium would have been absolute bedlam in that last couple of minutes if the whole crowd had still been there.
