the choices for a deep ball are either inside the hash marks, where the safetys are, or outside, where they aren't. so naturally you dipshits think we should throw it where they are.

this pass for example would have been so much better if we had thrown it into more coverage. you always want to look for as many defenders as possible and then throw the ball there.
