More trivia...from 2005-2012, Chrysler also used the Mercedes WA580/NAG-1 5 speed automatic in the Charger/300/Challenger. They now use a ZF sourced 8 speed...take a guess what nationality ZF is? (Hint: ZF stands for ZF Friedrichshafen AG).
Lot's of German components and engineering in those Chrysler cars.

Yep, and my post was meant to piggyback off of yours. I just find it funny when people dismiss Dodge and talk about German engineering.
