Can both sides at least agree that this St. George fiasco has been one giant distraction from the embarrassingly dysfunctional EBR school system?
No shite. Imagine if they had spent half the effort they spent gathering signatures trying to actually get reformers elected to the school board? EBR schools suck fricking arse - it shouldn't be that hard for a motivated and funded group who wants reform to get people elected. BUt of course - many if not most of the folks spearheading the St George "movement" have their kids in private school and don't actually give a frick if EBR schools succeed or not!

It's obvious you have no clue as to the politics involved and the political makeup of the various school board districts.
Getting two even three reformers elected carries little weight.
Groups have tried, groups have had some successes, but they are outnumbered by people who seem more interested in their politics than educating the kids.
