There is no right answer. It is impossible to rank records not only across sports but even within one sport. I don't know why you would even try.

Some people are confusing "most prestigious" with "hardest to break".
Most prestigious= season/career HR records, hit records.
Hardest to break= Dimaggio's hit streak, Ripken's game streak, Favre's game streak, Vandermeer's consecutive no-hitters.
Dimaggio's hit streak is both, so i vote for that.
Once again, the baseball records are more prestigious, based on the history of the game. Mannings TD record might be the most prestigious football record though.

The game that Bonds played is a lot more similar to the game that Aaron and Ruth played than the game that Manning is playing to the game that Unitas and Staubach played. Modern quarterbacks benefit way, way more from rule changes than pre-2003 baseball players benefitted from PED's.
