I'm curious about the need for a full sized SUV...why? I commute abt 40 miles a day, and I'm so surprised by the number of big SUVs I see making the same haul each day. The fuel bill alone would give me migranes.

It's not a catty question, but a serious one. I can understand the need for a full sized truck--towing, hauling equipment & tools, etc. But I really don't get the big SUV trend, especially if you drive lots.

I'd rather have an Audi Q3 than a bigger Lexus or Toyota. Next summer, the TDI q3 will be available in the US.....

Until the first time you want to go out of town for a week with a family of 4 and don't have enough cargo space.

Other than them being cooler than a mini-van, I don't either. A few of my single friends drive Tahoes and I just don't get it, but that's their decision. They make fun of my girly Outback though.
