re: Pointless now but why was delay of game not called agnst. Fla.?

I am pleased that the refs did their job and didn't allow for time to run out. However, if I interpret the rules correctly, it seems that LSU should have been awarded a 5-yard penalty.

ARTICLE 2. a. The officials shall make the ball ready for play consistently
