The play calling is horrendous. It's not just the pass calls either. Most of our run schemes are just awful as well. It's like we win in spite of coaching. We had 0 turnovers because we took no chances. We were just fortunate Florida cannot convert when it counts. I'm glad for the win though. The players fought hard and need some confidence moving forward.

on this I agree 100%

For those that say to look at Mett last year, I did, and the only thing that made it work was Mett and two NFL receivers making more than their fair share of man on man incredible plays.

You can not depend on having a QB like Mett and NFL quality receivers to make a college offense work

The object is to WIN, not look good ala TCU, who scored 58 and blew a 24 pt lead and fing lost!!.

We didn't turn the ball over therefore we win,

Play action on 3rd and 17. That's the offense in a nutshell.

I understand the limitations at quarterback; however, rather than just abandoning one facet of the offenses, how about you work on that with your QB, or recruit someone who CAN run that offense.

Everyone knows what LSU is going to do...example...I was listening to the first 5 minutes of the game on Sirius cause I was traveling back from NOLA and the Florida play by play guys makes the call and this statement after LSU's first play...

"Hand off to Fornette straight up the middle to the left side just as predicted"

I thought to myself shaking my head...true statement and it's embarrassing...

I'm actually going to have to disagree. He is playing with what we have. What is more concerning is the fact that Miles a company have yet to develop Quarterbacks since he has been a coach here. Jennings is scared to pull the trigger most of time. I don't think this team can beat anyone in the west with the combination of offense and defense we have.

Well the reason our scheme is so bad is the lack of confidence in our passing game. I was at the game last night and will say our run game did a fantastic job considering the way that d stacked the line and the talent they have there. Lf was awesome imo

hannagrif is a fat idiot. That scheme is the only reason we won. yes lets throw it against the best secondary in the country. Let us not run LF who at one point in the game was averaging over 7 yards a carry.

the play calling is horrible and it is difficult to watch. But you gotta understand that we don't have a quarterback that can execute a complex offensive game plan
