Was it great leadership when Mills was jogging on that play?

Mother fricking THIS! First thing I notices was Mills fricking dogging it and giving up letting the wr walk in for the td. In case you guys are dumb, Mills was supposed to be there for help on the play.

frick leadership. He was begging for forgiveness

I hesitated to start this thread because I just knew some dumbass would turn it into this.

I've rewatched the game, and that play in particular multiple times. Mills wasn't "dogging it".

He clearly was in full sprint catching up and turned back to look for the ball at around the 20 yard line.

When he turns back around, RR and Coates were tangled up fighting for the ball and Mills kind of hesitates because he doesn't seem to know who has it.

He sees Coates made the catch clean at about the 8, and at that point RR is kind of between him and Coates, and it looks like he tries to come around the other side, probably to try to strip the ball, but at that point Coates and RR are both rolling over in to the end zone so he kind of pulls up at around the 2 or 3 as the play is over.

And of course all of this happens in about 1 second flat, but I'm sure all these badass Madden All Stars could have brought down Coates' 6-2 200 pound body and stripped the ball and taken it back 99 for TD!!!

Bunch of beast mode cowboys in this place
