I've seen very few pot proponents claim pot is harmless. Compared to many other legal substances, including many over the counter drugs, it isn't any more dangerous. Compared to many prescription drugs, it is less harmful.

Are there risks with it? Of course. There are risks with just about anything you put into your body.

It's certainly not harmful in the short term. Smoke as much pot as you can physically stand to smoke in day, and drink as much Nyquil in that same period.

Eh. The general idea coming from pro-legalizers is that it's basically harmless.
I know why they downplay the risks (which according to this thread, may be similar to alcohol), but they do it and it hurts their cause IMO.

I am pro-legalization and anti WOD myself. I just don't want 12 year olds reading online forums and coming away with the impression that weed is all good for them. And yeah I know it should be common sense that kids shouldn't drink, smoke, etc. I'm just saying.
