They're probably confusing "overtime" with "extra duty." Caroline Moses at WAFB got called out on this a few year ago.

They need to watch these guys ot carefully.
If its brpd business as usual serve the union not the people you are paid to serve.
Some depts only allow a certain amount of ot.
Reason is they caught officers in the past double dipping or sleeping on shift.
I believe one brpd officer was fired this year for double dipping.
As far as professional liability some depts offer it or its covered in union dues.
Bprd when you need a disfunctional dept we got you covered!
