Thanks, Knight.

That's great. I shared this with my son, too.

OK, wise one, how about we say the concept of being a winner entails not being a quitter - i.e., not quitting on one's team just because the going gets rough.
Did this need to be said? I mean, it's just about the most obvious thing you can say. It's like telling us that in order to live to 80, it's pretty crucial we not die at 40.

Sure it's fun to argue Xs and Os but so often that devolves into tautology.
Someone got a dictionary!

I'm talking about attitude - say what you will about LF -and he is a youngster- but he's right about BUGA, imho.
And fans attitudes don't have much, if anything, to do with that. I'm not even sure what you're talking about.

I'm trying hard to find a clip of that BS inspirational poem Charles Durning read to the players in "North Dallas Forty", but not having much success.

Kinda feel like it wouldn't be worth it.

Most of the comments are posted by those who are either: 1. stupid and cannot grasp the general meaning; or 2. fools.

I applaud the posting and urge the team to do its best. There will be better times.

Losers never quit being stubborn. They are last to acknowledge their inability to change. Winners adapt to reality because they want to win, not because they just want to be right. I really like that poem but I'm not sure it applies to Les Miles and LSU.

it does not....could be used to motivate players perhaps...but they must first be COACHED

If employees are not performing, the get replaced.
...specially at the PRICE TAG that these coaches carry.

nothing to do with feel good speeches.

Again, this was really directed at us fans, not the team - although I would argue any team should adopt this philosophy in pursuit of their goals.

Sometimes quitters do win, though. Like when you quit investing in a stock before the price goes down.

Dude, you and both vocal sides of the argument think that there are only two kinds of LSU fan.....and you are stupid for that.

There has been a middle third of the fanbase that was silent while cringing with the clock issues, stupid play calling and having absolute meltdowns where the team looked not even ill-prepared, but not prepared at all.

We were silent while all of you sided one way or another, while this guy continued to get out coached. Some of you would breathe a sigh of relief when we won while the others rolled their eyes because it delayed the inevitable......that the cream always rises to the top while the rest get supplanted by a game that passes them by.

The silent third of the fanbase has fricking had it. Do you not understand that? Did you think that he learned his lesson in 2005 Tennessee.? No. Infact, not even close? All the pumpers kept seeing these errors.....big ones. And they said to themselves

quote:

, "okay, now this will never happen again....he's learned his lesson.....I mean, Malzahn won sec after getting obliterated

But no, it keeps happening. And Malzahn is an imaginative coach that doesn't just adjust at halftime, but DURING the game. .....the only halftime adjustment he had to make was calling off the dogs and not embarrassing les; which he took care of himself. and he's aware of That thing called the clock.....for which all games are timed. Did you see Saban and kirffin during the last four minutes of the ole miss game? They have wherewithal about the clock.

All you supporters will be glad when he's gone too, because even you are tired of supporting him. You are embarrassing yourself with your head in the sand.

I saw the OC on the sideline with a short guy that seemed to be in charge. Is that a control thing or do other OC's stand on the sideline with short people?
