Definitely at least make a stop in Jackson Hole, WY. Right now is a great time to be there before the tourists start arriving for ski season. If you plan to stay awhile, it's also a good time to find a job for when ski season starts back up. One of my kids did this and ended up staying for three years and still goes back to visit all of her friends who are still there.
