To OP: how do you like the U-Turn? Considering buying one to not break the bank due to building my new home right now. I hear it takes forever to ship.

Thanks for asking, I highly recommend it. It's simple, has a minimalist design, and easily upgradable. Best value for the money in budget focused turntable IMO. Made right here in the USA. I have lived it so far. I first heard about it from a poster on this site who recommended it. The reviews on it have all been outstanding as well.
Edit: and yes the only downside was it took a little while to ship, about 3 weeks. Well worth the wait though.
