I've said this numerous times, but booing anyone is stupid. It's that simple. If you aren't happy with what the home team is doing, silence can be deafening.
Yelling at refs over a bad call, yes. Yelling at an opposing player for doing something bad, like the stomping thing with Day, that's acceptable. But actually yelling "boo" is just fricking dumb.

You are right. It serves no useful purpose. It doesn't make players do better. It doesn't make coaches change anything. It has no positive benefit. All it does is make those who boo look childish and dumb. It also makes LSU look bad to have clowns in our stands booing a 19 year old kid.
Makes us look like spoiled, entitled titty babies.
