We don't need Gordon gone to lock up Asik or Ryno, and Rivers is replaceable.

Unless you sign and trade Gordon to somebody, you are quite possibly limiting your available payroll for solid players. Gordon is a solid to good player whether posters on this board believe it or not. The problem is that we are coming up on significant changes to the salary cap, but we won't know what they are until after we tie ourselves in.
