If Louisiana passed a law saying you can't wear Che Guevara shirts on Veteran's Day or Memorial Day, you'd be one of the first plaintiffs the ACLU would line up for their suit, and you know it.

Either all of it is okay, or none of it is (within reason), and the threat of violence shouldn't be the test.

There are different rules in school settings. The court didn't say you can't wear those shirts, they said the students rights weren't violated by sending them home or asking them to change.

Nope, nope I wouldn't.

Years ago I was unjustly put in detention in high school and met with the principal about it. He agreed I was right but said "Son, sometimes authority figures screw you over and you just have to take it. It builds character."

He was right. People need to buck up and stop crying about every little thing. It's the pussification of America.
